Corporate Moves were appointed in May 2017 to provide move management and relocation services to Anderson Strathern as they undertook a restack of their Edinburgh office, Rutland Court. Updates were received from teams on a weekly basis, total figures were collated and reported to the team. This was a substantial task undertaken by staff and resulted in 1,957 boxes of filing being sent to archive and a staggering 15.3 tonnes of paper shredded.
Move Specifics:
One hundred and fifty six staff were moved over 2 move weekends
156 personal crates moved
161 desktop IT disconnected, moved and unpacked (reconnections done by internal IT team)
648 linear metres of filing packed, relocated and unpacked
Desk and cabinet layout changes to 4 floors
Recycle Scotland were involved, leading to 9.36 tonnes of metal and 3.2 tonnes of wood being recycled
