North Sea Transition Authority

The Corporate Moves team in Aberdeen recently completed a large, two-phase relocation and furniture installation for around 100 staff for the North Sea Transition Authority (NSTA).

  • Client: North Sea Transition Authority Relocation
  • Year: 2022
  • Location: Aberdeen
  • Service: Relocation, Installation

Overview

The NSTA moved from the West End of Aberdeen to the Marischal Square development, occupying 1640 sq. m of office space and encouraging the regeneration of the city centre.

Phase 1

Once the new furniture was delivered to the existing site, we collected and delivered it to safe storage until the floorplate at the new space was ready. We then collected the furniture for a second time from storage and installed it at the new office before moving the rest of their assets the following week.

Phase 2

As well as the new furniture for the office, NSTA asked us to relocate some furniture from their existing offices in London. Our team did a full survey of the furniture before heading down to London to dismantle and collect it over a 2-day period, and then we reinstalled the furniture at Marischal Square. This had to be carefully coordinated in order to be completed before the staff move-in date.

The relocation and installations were completed successfully, on time, and with the finished space now looking bright and modern, just as NSTA had envisioned. This was a great project to work on alongside NSTA, which has presented positive news for Aberdeen as more businesses move into city centre locations.
