About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate and driven individual to play an instrumental role in strengthening and developing our client base. As Business Development Manager, you’ll engage potential clients to build trusting and productive business partnerships.

  • Ensure continual communication with potential clients to maximise sales opportunities.
  • Promote the Corporate Moves brand through networking and engaging with the local business community.
  • Act as stakeholder liaison, including service delivery and business development teams, senior management, and external clients, advising on Corporate Moves operations and projects with emphasis on new business development and key account management.
  • Monitor sales pipeline, including sales forecasting.
  • Coordinate efforts of support staff to deliver projects.
  • Prepare detailed productivity reports and provide sales projections for financial planning.


About You

You’ll be an excellent communicator, with a positive and committed approach to finding the best solutions for our customers. We’re looking for someone who can use their interpersonal skills to build great relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 3 years relevant experience with qualification or evidence of progression and development.
  • Proven experience using CRM software.
  • Experience achieving aspirational targets.
  • Experience of business management administration in a corporate setting.

Skills and Other Requirements:

  • Excellent planning, organisational, and negotiating skills.
  • Proven use of initiative and independent judgement.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong IT skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Highly developed and proven interpersonal skills, with an understanding of confidentiality issues.
  • A creative and proactive approach to preventing, identifying, and solving problems.
  • Ability to work independently, setting own priorities and targets.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Ability to adapt in an ever-changing environment.


The Business Development Manager will be based in either our Livingston, Glasgow or Edinburgh office with split time between office and remote working. This will be a national role but targeted by geography when business needs require.
